First, please go to the Help menu and select About Elevate. Check the Version – your software is unlocked if it does not say Demo. If it does say "Demo", there could be several problems:
- Sometimes, people mistype the serial number into the unlocking code form. Check that the number on the email the system sent you is the same as the one presented in the software in Help, About Elevate. If not, please re-apply for an unlocking code here with the correct serial number.
- You may have an old software version that can no longer be unlocked. Please download the latest version here.
- If you are an IT support engineer, you may have logged into your client’s computer using a different user name than your client’s. The Elevate serial number is unique to the user, so you must be logged into their account when you retrieve the serial number and enter the unlocking code.
If none of the above works, please reset the software protection by going to the Help menu and selecting About Elevate. In the upgrade code box, type reset and then click on OK. This will reset the system and generate a new serial number.
