Passenger transfer by floor

Modified on Wed, 6 Aug, 2025 at 12:07 PM

Passenger Transfer by Floor plots elevator passenger movements specific to a selected floor. This graph represents what you would observe if you stood on the landing, counting passengers entering and exiting the elevator:

  • Arrivals: Passengers who exit the elevator at that floor
  • Departures: Passengers who board the elevator from that floor

The graph allows you to analyze the passenger flow per floor, which is especially useful for understanding traffic patterns and optimizing lift service for specific levels.

You can generate and view this graph for:

  • Any single simulation run
  • An average across all simulation runs
