Door Operation Times

The door pre-opening, opening, and closing times can be selected Automatically or Specified manually. Door pre-open is the improvement in door opening time achieved by overlapping the levelling operation with the first part of door opening, in seconds.

Door open is the time, in seconds, from the instant the elevator car is level at a floor until the doors are fully open. Elevate assumes passenger transfer begins at the end of the door open time. If passenger transfer begins before the doors are fully open, the door open time can be set accordingly (e.g., when doors are 800 mm open).

Door close is the time, in seconds, from when the car doors start closing until they are locked closed. If the Auto option is used, Elevate selects door widths based on Capacity, with typical door times as shown:
