This function is only implemented for the Destination Control (ACA) dispatcher (and for thyssenkrupp TWIN where permission to access this feature has been granted).
Some destination control systems can restrict which elevators will be assigned to a call. Example applications include:
- Where a tenant is required only to use a specified elevator or elevators;
- Where a specified elevator is required because it is larger and needed for a large load.
Passengers will present a security card or similar to the destination input terminal which will tag their destination call to require a specific elevator or elevators. The dispatcher then makes its allocation while ensuring that only an allowed elevator is assigned.
In Elevate, to assign a group of passengers to a specified elevator or elevators, add the ElevatorAllowed_n=1 directive to the notes column in Advanced Passenger Data, where n is the number of the elevator.
It does not matter where the elevator allowed directive is within the notes column, e.g. "Company A Passengers, ElevatorAllowed_1=1, ElevatorAllowed_3=1" would restrict passengers in the period to be served by elevators 1 or 3 only.
