If you want to create a video of your simulation to play outside Elevate, select the Recorder from the Tools menu before starting the simulation. Once the simulation is complete, the video file will be created and played. You need to select Recorder before each simulation that you want to record.
The file is saved in the Windows temporary directory, which you can reach by typing %temp% in the File Explorer path.
The file created by Elevate is an .AVI file which will play using the OLD version of Windows Media Player.
The more recent Media Player also supplied with Windows does not work with this and some other video files. An AVI file can be imported into most good video editing software so that you can convert it to your preferred format. You can also import the AVI file directly into PowerPoint which will convert it to its own format; depending on the power of your PC, this may take a long time (at least 5 minutes for a 3-minute video).
