Peters Research (CIBSE) modern office lunch peak (2015)

Elevate generates an example morning uppeak traffic profile based on traffic surveys undertaken by Peters Research Ltd.

This template is defined in CIBSE Guide D 2015 and 2020 Section 4. The template is based on the requirements of an office building, with twelve 5-minute periods where the passenger demand rises to a peak of 13% with a variable traffic mix to reflect the greater outgoing demand at the beginning of lunch and the greater incoming demand at the end of lunch.

This is shown in Guide D 2020 Figure 4.9 as follows:

The simulation runs between 12:15 hrs and 13:15 hrs.
